Grief Walk

Grief Walk – A Walkshop for Moving with Loss. Grief Walk is a guided two-hour walk through Valencia’s historic center, offering space to process loss of any kind — from loved ones to life changes. Blending reflection, storytelling, and quiet ritual, this intimate walkshop helps participants carry grief with more care and connection. Hosted in collaboration with Alexey Timbul.

Grief & the City... You probably already know if this walk is for you.
A pilgrimage mapping laughs, tears, memories, and many squares.
It's like, if Love was your personal tour guide...

People, pets, places, objects - anything that is loved can be lost.
“If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.”
Winnie the Pooh was right. Our hearts keep memories alive.
And yet, sometimes the heart can feel too small, too fragile.
Can a city square contain a memory of a conversation?
Can a city street tell a story of a laugh?
Can Valencia reunite us with those who are not here and reconcile us with our present selves?

Many have heard about the Five Stages of Grief:
denial, anger, bargaining, depression & acceptance.
How do we get through each and navigate them all?
How do we honor our connections, let go, and go on?

The idea was born and first event held just days before Valencia was hit by the devastating Dana floods — a reminder that sometimes, whole city grieves too. Since then, we’ve been growing with the city through that shared grief, learning how to hold loss together in motion.

Led by a grief guide and a storyteller, the experience weaves through hidden city corners, using memory, movement, and creative prompts to explore how we mourn, remember, and heal.

Upcoming event's will be posted in MeetUp app.
